Grandparents seem nice. My friends had them. Most have sweet memories. Bucketlist true story: I’m hearing people complain about their Parents grandparenting. It’s not the spoiling or too much candy; apparently quintessential grandparent territory. It’s teaching secrets and green lighting deception. Underhandedly discouraging Parents’ values to build a relationship with the grandkid and reinforce “old ways.”

Sweet Cabbage is an E-Z P-Z combo of what I understood was a grandmother’s sincerity. It has no secrets.
Bucketlist confession: My Partner’s Maman was a self-appointed old traditions guard. It made even her kind gestures ill. Bucketlist Soulhack™: Niyat’s no joke. Intend attentively.
I witnessed a kid from a no-carcass-food-home having secret carcass-dinners at grandma’s. Their little secret.
Bucketlist Lifehack™: It’s dangerous to bind nourishment to dishonesty. Keep distant from those who use secrets to bond with your children.
Grandparents weren’t a direct influence in my life. Stories I’ve heard make me believe we’d bond over cooking, nature, stories of wars they survived, and deep conversations about spirits, God and other realm curiosities. Mama’s-mom taught Ma recipes, remedies, and other treats. This is what I have in place of a grand anyone. Sweet Cabbage is an E-Z P-Z combo of what I understood was a grandmother’s sincerity. It has no secrets. Death-Free™ deliciousness that’s perfectly balanced sweetness.
